Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 the 22nd of April, 1990) is a popular American singer and rapper. He is also popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) as a songwriter, actor and performer. His genre duality in alternative rock and hip-hop is what earned him fame. The mixtapes he released were four between 2007 and the year 2010, after which he signed with Bad Boy Records. In 2012 his album Lace Up the first studio album. It peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200. It featured his first single "Wild Boy" which was sung by Waka Flame. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter included the smash hit track "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo, was hip-hop rock. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album entitled Tickets to My Downfall (2020) was released. It marked a departure from hip-hop and a move to pop punk. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to achieve that in the year it was released, and featured the single "My Ex's Best Friend" and climbed to the 20th spot on the Hot 100. The album was followed by Mainstream Sellout (2022) which was a similar commercial success. He's since been featured in the thriller Nerve (2016) and the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence in addition to the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
