Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started second grade at five. In 1975, she graduated from Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In addition, she competed in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. In the following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year residing within Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone unhappy with the fashion industry that was thriving in Europe took up acting while living in Europe. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" which received mixed reviews.
