Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill as she was able to end her in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina by using her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO second round victory. She repeated her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an majority decision.
